A SWOT Analysis Of PTCL Systems
A SWOT Analysis Of PTCL Systems There is no skimpy competitor of PTCL in landline but with the growth of telecommunication business of Pakistan rivalry increasing specially in mobile phone sector. There are more then 800 million subscribers of cellular phone. There are 03 big players in mobile phone industry but 3 of them are the competitor of PTCL: Mobilink, Telenor, Warid Tel. Mobilink is the largest mobile phone company of Pakistan. Mobilink is currently having more then 31,958,597 users base which is the 36% of total cellular industry of Pakistan. Mobilink is basically challenging Ufone which is subsidiaries of PTCL. Telenor is another cell phone company it have 17,841,074 subscribers which is 20 % of total mobile industry. Warid Tel Waridtel is also providing cell phone services in Pakistan. Waridtel have more than 15,114,678 subscribers which are 17% of Pakistan mobile industry. NEW COMPETITORS Other than mobile land line PTCL is facing competition in F.W.T (Fixed Wireless Telephone) product market. Below are the main competitors. Telecard, World Call SWOT ANALYSIS OF PTCL Here I am giving my SWOT analysis of PTCL. I tried to use my keen observation in order to find the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. As it is very difficult for an internee to discuss with the employees of any organization about its weaknesses, moreover they are also not so much open in telling their strengths and opportunities. Where there is a company in operation it has to work in two kinds of environment i.e. The external environment and The internal environment of the company. For a company to avail maximum and avoid maximum, it has to know what it has to avail and what it has to avoid. The external environment has scanned by the management for any arising opportunities or any critical threats. The resources of a company constitute its strengths and weaknesses. External factors are broadly categorized into; Economic forces Social, cultural, demographic, and environmental forces Political, governmental and legal forces Technological forces Competitive forces etc Internal factors are; Marketing strength of firm Financial/Accounting resources Management Computer information system Production/operations etc Why SWOT analysis A SWOT Analysis is conducted by the company so that it is able to position itself to take advantage of particular opportunities in the environment and to avoid or minimize environmental threats. In doing so, the organization attempts to emphasize its strengths and moderate the impact of weaknesses. The analysis is also useful for uncovering strengths that have not been fully utilized and in identifying weaknesses that can be corrected. Matching information about the environment with the organizations capabilities enables management to formulate realistic strategies for attaining its goals. Strengths A professional management is running PTCL. PTCL Management is continuously allocating funds for new technology, enhancing knowledge pool, acquiring professionally skilled personnel and so many arrangements regarding meeting the requirements of rapidly changing environment. PTCL has the largest network coverage in the country including almost all the cities and their peripheries which others lack yet. The company has got a very vast and very strong infrastructure within the country based on the landline network PTCL is rich in assets as compared to others in the industry, as it possesses and owns all of its machinery, stations and places PTCL is the biggest data service in Pakistan home users. It provide dialup internet and also DSL services at low prices with unlimited download so PTCL by providing these services is getting its place in the market as a leader in data services providers. PTCL also provides the data services to other operators which include PIE (Pakistan Internet Exchange), DSL and provides domestic and international lease circuits. PTCL is offering many value added services to its home and corporate customers and which includes Toll Free 0800, UAN, UIN, VPN, and premium services 0900, voice messaging services (VMS). It has the largest no of employees in Pakistan. PTCL is providing its services in all over the Pakistan do it has large number of offices and telephone exchanges which contain large number of skilled and unskilled employees. It is also strengthen with state of the art technology. PTCL is keen to acquire new technologies to provide quality and valuable services to its customers. It provides maximum range of services. PTCL is the largest converged services carrier providing all telecommunication services from basic voice telephony to data, internet, video conferencing and carrier services and business all over the country. Weaknesses After the success and completion of Voluntary Separation Scheme (VSS), PTCL is facing shortage of the employees because some of the exchanges have been left non functional as all of the employees in those exchanges have opted the VSS and that had been approved after which the vacancies have not been filled yet. There is no job description at PTCL; the employees have made them at their own in the company among themselves. ERP department is under process of up gradation at presently which is costing a lot to the company in terms of both money and time as well. The clashes between new employees and the old regular employees affect the working of the company due to professional rivalry and discrimination. Reference check form is an important element of selection process of an employee, the company used reference check but there was no form designed for this purpose formally. PTCL is not providing customer services up to the mark. Poor customer services leads to customers dissatisfaction and cause disconnections which ultimately results in high mix rate. No company wants to have high churn rate. Opportunities PTCL has a vast network spread all over Pakistan. Due to its experience in the field of telecommunications and a trained workforce, PTCL has a great opportunity to do well in the deregulated scenario under the Etisalat Management. Privatization liberalization of IT sector. Wireless local loop (WLL) is the alternative for landline phone lines. PTCL has the great opportunity to expand its market through WLL base subscribers. PTCL has the great opportunity in data services. There is a great potential in data services market. Through proper segmenting the market, PTCL can explore new segments and can increase its business significantly. Threats Deregulations not only provide new opportunities but also pose some threats. Up till now PTCL is enjoying a monopoly in fix line telephony but after deregulation of telecom market PTCL is facing competition from other telecom companies. This may result in fall of traffic and revenue. Being a semi-government organization PTCL has direct effect of the political and domestic instability, which affects the working of the company. As government has permitted the reactivation of labor unions recently, it can be a serious threat to the company. The competitors of the company that are other telecom companies are well organized and well managed, they have their focus on the operations and on the competition in the market while PTCL is still under the process of reorganization and up-gradation. The company is facing new competitors, Wateen Telecom, in landline services which may offer a great competition to the company in landline and internet services in the country. Large number of disconnections has the greatest threats to PTCL. Which lowering the share of its prime business of land line phone. Conversion towards mobile. Increasing competitions between mobile companies resulting in better mobile packages. So its customers are switching towards mobile phones. New entrants in the markets. New companies are entering in voice and data services which can cause lowering the market share of the PTCL. Continuously decreasing call rates by mobile phone companies cause the low new connection rate. Because new customers preferring mobile phone instead of landline phones. Fiber optic damages are other threats to PTCL which cost a lot to the company. Recommendations No doubt PTCL financial results show a fair picture of its excellent performance over the year but it is not enough there are number of issues that need to be address in order to raise its performance and also to successfully face the challenges set by the globalization and rapidly changing economic world. On the basis of my experience I have put some recommendations and findings as under. I during the internship found out that there is poor staffing, some of the departments are over populated and some even dont have the number necessary to run the department. Customer services should be improved, that will help to improve customer satisfaction and results in low churn rate. PTCL should recheck its marketing strategies as currently very few people know the services offered by PTCL. It should install more billboards, use print and electronic Medias. Employees attitude and behavior towards work and customers must be improved as due to staff competition every individual customer is vital. Increase service offering at competitive and affordable rates. Minimize exposure to Governments (PTCL) revenue in the short term. Working environment should be improved by introducing good corporate culture in the organization so the employee satisfaction can be achieved, which results in low employee turnover. Coordination among the departments should be improved by introducing new practices through which department interact with each other properly. So they work together to achieve organizational goals. Strategies should be built by using proper market information, so the good strategies lead towards accomplishment of organizational goal efficiently. PTCL should also focus on WLL services which can be helpful in increasing its market size. PTCL should have more focus on data services which has the great potential and company has the sources to avail this opportunity. Proper segmentation should be done so the new segments can be explored and targeted. CONCLUSION PTCL is the largest telecommunications provider in Pakistan. The company maintains an important position in Pakistan as a communications provider to other telecom operators and corporate customers of the country. It has possible to be an instrumental agent in Pakistans economic growth. PTCL has laid an Optical Fiber Access system in the main urban centers of Pakistan and local loop services have started to be modernized and upgraded from copper to an optical network. PTCL have the monopoly in providing the Land-Line Telephone Connection in Pakistan and its playing its role magnificently. In current scenario PTCL has increases its Revenue quite dramatically and probably that as soon as this organization has become privatized it will flourish its revenue in better manner. PTCL should at once change its Finance upper level of chain of command and should stream line in the good manner. PTCL should also give confidence to the Billing On line system that each and every customer should have to pay his/her bill on line base. The system of E-PAYMENT which though survive in PTCL finance system but there is need of development in this facility. The image of PTCL being most important Telecom providing is not good in the eyes of ordinary customers particularly there are lot of complaints about including the bogus local calls in the monthly bills of various customers. PTCL should also give the detail of local calls made from any Land Line Number which would be provided in Micro level to the customer. Defective Telephone link should be Fault Free within 24 hours in order to maximize the Revenue, as Revenue of PTCL should give up at the cost of defective Telephone. PTCL should make Customer Care Centers in distant areas If I have to express my experience of internship in PTCL I would briefly say: PTCL is a good Organization in the way that anybody can join it for his/ her long-term career. Overall working environment is at ease. Management of branch cares a lot of its staff and considers them as the plus point of PTCL. The customers are entertained individually because customer is the king of all activities. Same kind of actions and attention is given to all the customers. Getting ideas for development from customer side is a new idea and that is working very well in PTCL. The customers are asked to fill a suggestion form and the standards of the organization are enhanced through them. In PTCL, all the activities are done on computers that enhance the organizations ability. I found my internship training at PTCL to be a very pleasing experience. The training was helpful because it helps me a lot to learn bout real life working environment. So far my learning is concerned; all the employees at branch were quite helpful. They helped me to understand the activities of an org to possible extent. Their good attitude gave me more self-confidence to learn more and to ask if I have any query in my mind.

To Kill a Mockingbird - The Character of Atticus Finch :: Kill Mockingbird essays
To Kill a Mockingbird - The Character of Atticus Finch Kind and understanding, strict but fair, Atticus Finch embodies everything that a father should be. A man of great strength and courage, he is Scout and Jem's hero; the steady presence that keeps them grounded and their only connection to the adult world. He is their teacher, their protector, and their friend. He takes on these responsibilities without hesitation, and cares far Scout and Jem the only way he knows how. Some say it's a misguided effort at parenthood, but the reader sees that Atticus' episodes with his children are what make him an exemplary father. Atticus' unique relationship with Scout and Jem is built on equality and respect, and helps to create his "father of the year" character. The simple act of calling him "Atticus" and not "father" brings Scout and Jem to the same level as Atticus. They are people, not children. "Jem protested, then pleaded, and Atticus said, `All right, you can come with us if you stay in the car'"(239). By allowing Jem and Dill to accompany him and Calpurnia to tell Mrs. Robinson about Tom's death, Atticus demonstrates his respect for Jem and Dill, and his faith in their maturity. Part of Atticus' role as a father is teacher. Most of Scout and Jem's knowledge comes from Atticus. He teaches them the important life lessons that they can't learn from books or blackboards. " `You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view...until you climb into his skin and walk around in it'"(30). This conversation between Atticus and Scout comes early in the novel, and helps the reader to appreciate the special bond between Atticus and his children. They respect him as their father, and they value his opinions and advice. In addition to sharing his thoughts and wisdom with Scout and Jem, Atticus teaches through example. His lessons in morality and ethics come in the courtroom, when he's defending Tom Robinson. " `You know the truth, and the truth is this: some Negroes lie, some Negroes are immoral, some Negro men are not to be trusted around women- black or white. But this is a truth that applies to the human race and to no part icular race of men.

Argo and Casablanca – Main Characters Comparison
Both Tony and Rick are faced with a dilemma throughout Argo and Casablanca, respectively. They catch themselves getting more and more involved with the escape plan, and then their emotional connection leads to altruistic actions. Both Argo and Casablanca have a scene that underscores these characters transitions. On the first movie Mendez, have a heated up conversation with his boss on the phone, while on the other movie, Blaine points a gun at an official.Up to this part, the characters were very cold, and professional, however, after it they become attached to the people that are being saved. On one side, the scene selected in Argo focuses on: camera proximity and movement, decor and framing. On the other side, the scene selected in Casablanca focuses on: soundtrack, camera movement and positioning, and on and off screen space. The camera proximity and camera movement in Argo, emphasizes the characters reactions, by always showing the character with the strongest reaction. It is not iceable that the camera zooms in Tony as soon as he is alone in the room, and is kept that close to him until the end; his supervisor only has one close-up shot, while the camera spins around him, it is when he is explaining the new changes in CIAââ¬â¢s operation, and for the rest of the scene, the camera captures Jack Oââ¬â¢Donnell through medium/close-up shots, finishing with a medium shot of him breaking a cup on his table. The camera is handheld on Mendezââ¬â¢ shots, creating a more personal, and emotional perception of the character, while the zoom highlights his reactions and creates tension to the scene as whole. The steady shots of Jack are calmer, and more impersonal, making him look more professional, and less emotive. The framing plays an important role on this sequence. Both Tony and Jack are placed on the right side of the screen at first, with Tony changing sides on the frame only when he states that he and his boss are responsible for the people they are tryin g to save. The right side of the screen is reserved for when the characters are more impersonal and professional, while the left side of the screen is used only when Tony explicitly becomes emotionally attached.Decor and lighting differentiate the perception of each space used on the scene. In the house located in Iran, the lighting is darker because the scene is slightly underexposed, which helps create a low-key effect, while warm colors dominate the location. This assists on the creation of a more intimate environment, just like a house should be. On the other side of the world, in CIAââ¬â¢s headquarters, Oââ¬â¢Donnellââ¬â¢s office receives natural lighting from its window, which illuminates a blue wall as well as a typewriter of the same color, making this space look like a professional location, analogous to a typical workplace. In Casablanca, the camera positioning and movement play an important part too. However, the positions and movement are broader, ranging from lo ng shots to close-ups and from static positioning to panning around the location; different angles are used as well. Long shots in addition to panning introduce the area that will be used throughout the scene, which are the Cafeââ¬â¢s bar, and its entrance, that is seen from both the inside and outside.Another panning, more noticeable than the others, is the one that shows Renault spying on the other characters from Rickââ¬â¢s office; the camera pans in a diagonal fashion from the upper right, where the officer is hidden, to the lower left, the spot where the three other character are and also the place where the rest of the sequence takes place. Racking focus is used when Major Strasserââ¬â¢s subordinate opens his officeââ¬â¢s door; the focus quickly changes between the man and his superior. A low angle is used when the official says that Laszlo is under arrest, which aggrandizes the captain. In this scene, mood and tension is accomplished mainly by soundtrack and sound effects instead of dialogue, in comparison to Argoââ¬â¢s selected scene, which does exactly the opposite. At first, when Rick is talking to Ilsa, the song ââ¬Å"As Time Goes Byâ⬠plays on the background as a motif, creating intimacy between them, and as Victor joins them, the song transforms for a brief moment, suddenly disappearing when Renault, in the same shot as aforementioned in the last paragraph, surprises the Resistance hero, thus producing tension. To increase tension even further, a sound effect is used when Rick points his gun at Louis, and his voice is heard off-screen, until the camera tilts towards his face. The soundtrack is back before long, and its purpose now is to underscore tension as Renault makes the phone call. In terms of formal elements, Casablancaââ¬â¢s selected sequence relates more to the rest of the movie than does Argoââ¬â¢s, because only the editing and mise-en-scene aspects are kept the same through the picture, the sound and cinematogra phy are an exception to the rule.Casablanca brands its mise-en-scene and cinematography with relatively spacious locations, and the camera helps to manifest it by using wide angled lens on top of long-shots. Lighting is often the standard three-point scheme, and it kept fixed on most reaction shots. Men are always formally dressed, while Ilsa changes between three different outfits and the cinematography is widely characterized by the use of straight-on angles, to maintain neutrality towards characters, with the exception of a few low shots, which raises some charactersââ¬â¢ power.Long shots are predominant on the beginning of scenes, and medium shots, showing two or more people in a group, soon substitute it; close-ups are used mostly for reaction shots. Camera movement includes everything, but handheld and aerial shots. Wide-angle lenses are the favorite in this motion picture. The editing and sounds, follows Hollywoodââ¬â¢s standards, always consist of an establishing shot on the beginning of each new scene, introduced by a dissolve from the previous sceneââ¬â¢s last shot, and a shot/reverse shot when characters are talking.Usually the rhythm happens on a medium speed. The diegetic sounds prevails, and are easily noticed, they include: most of the music heard on Rickââ¬â¢s Cafe, background noises and sound effects of all sorts, and dialogues. The start of both Argo and Casablanca are almost the same, a narration in addition to various dissolves, introduces rapidly where the films will take place and also a point on history, the only difference is that Casablanca uses a globe, while Argo utilizes the sketches of the fake movie. In Argo, only the editing and mise-en-scene relates to the chosen sequence and the rest of the movie. The main locations are six: Los Angeles, the Central Intelligence Agencyââ¬â¢s headquarters, the Iranian house, Iranââ¬â¢s streets, the airport/airplane, and the US embassy on the opening of the movie; and each of the m has its own rhythm and amounts of tension, with the ones located in United States having the longest takes with less direct tension and the ones in Iranââ¬â¢s outdoors being the most tense ones and with the shortest takes. The connection between the countries is made with the repetitive use of cross cutting on some sequences. Continuity practically does not exist on the chosen sequence, but does on the rest of the motion picture. Most of the lighting is supposed to be natural. The costumes are typical of each characterââ¬â¢s home country. The editing strongly relates to Casablanca by using Hollywood's standards, like dissolve between scenes, shot/reverse shot during conversations.Cinematography is very different among scenes, and uses all of the possibilities. The scene selected is the only one with a handheld camera with shots focusing on only one character; the other uses for this technique always include groups of people. Aerial shots are also included throughout the movie , in contrast with Casablanca that has none. The camera is always on the eye-level of the shortest character being shown. Close-ups are equally used to show reactions and details, with more camera movement on the last.Sound use is somewhat more complex in Argo, with many off-screen and voice over sounds, like when a conversation is held over the phone or background noises for instance. However, for all the other sections Casablanca and Argo are very similar. Tony and Rick are exclusively professional characters, both of them possess a high social position, and are financially stable, they also enjoy desired political positions among their peers, and neither display signs of emotional attachment to others, until the selected scene on each movie. After it, both characters start to be perceived as warmer people, who are still able to be, in their own ways, part of intimate relationships. As the pictures get closer to their ends, Mendez and Blaine are not seen exclusively as professional s anymore, but as more altruistic persons, the CIAââ¬â¢s agent also boosts his social, and political, position by receiving an award, while the Cafeââ¬â¢s owner earns respect from the couple and the corrupt official. In the end, it is easily acknowledged that both movies are more similar than different, with a special call for their plot, beginning, development of main character, and major formal elements. The differences, if evaluated properly, are almost none, and are all hidden among small details. Coincidentally or not, Michael Curtiz has a quote that applies appropriately to both Tony and Rick when they become emotionally attached to the hostages and the couple, respectively; the quote is ââ¬Å"The only things you regret are the things you donââ¬â¢t do. ââ¬

Make Crystal Pinecone Ornaments
Crystal pinecones are real pinecones that you can coat with crystals to make ornaments that appear frosted with ice and snow. These decorations are easy to make and can be preserved to use year after year. Its the perfect crystal project to make homemade ornaments with kids or to practice growing crystals. Crystal Pinecone Materials The most important material is the pinecone. Choose any genuine pinecone. It doesnt even need to be in great shape, since you can crystallize over any imperfects. The other ingredient is a salt that forms pretty crystals. I used borax, but you could use alum (big chunky crystals), table salt (small sparkly crystals), Epsom salts (fine needle-like crystals), or sugar (chunky rock candy crystals). Sugar or salt are nice if youre worried about kids or pets tasting your creations. If you use borax, it is also great for making crystal snowflakes, which you can make at the same time, if you like. pineconewaterborax (or one of the other ingredients)jar big enough so you can completely cover the pinecone with liquid If you want to hang the pinecone, like for a Christmas tree ornament, youll also want a hook or wire. Crystallize the Pinecone If you are going to hang the pinecone, its easier to add the hook before the crystallization process. Attach an ornament hook or run wire around the pinecone first.Figure out how much water you need. Rather than mix the crystal solution right in the jar, I prefer to fill the jar with water, then heat it to boiling and pour it into a mixing bowl. This way, its easy to filter the solution and remove any undissolved material.Stir in your crystal ingredient (borax, for my pinecone). Keep adding more powder until it stops dissolving. This is your crystal growing solution. If you wanted a colored crystal coating, you could add food coloring to this mixture. For borax, youll use about 2 parts water to 1 part borax (e.g., 2 cups water and 1 cup borax).Put the pinecone in the jar. Pour the solution over the pinecone. If you have a lot of undissolved material, you can filter the solution by pouring it through a coffee filter or paper towel into the jar. Otherwise, just add it to the container, trying to avoid adding in solids. They wont ruin the project, but do affect the size of the crystals youll get. If there is undissolved solid, youll get fine crystals, like snow. Fully dissolved liquid and slow cooling gives you large, icy crystals. The pinecone will probably try to float. I put a rock on mine to hold it down, minimizing the contact between the rock and the pinecone since crystals cant grow where the pinecone is covered. It does not really matter what you use because the pinecone wont float for very long. Once it soaks up the liquid and starts growing crystals, it will sink. You can remove any weight you used to ensure coverage of the pinecone.Check on your pinecone after about an hour. If you used a weight, you should be able to remove it. You can also un-stick the pinecone from the bottom of the jar, to make removing it easier later on.Allow at least a couple of hour to overnight for crystals to grow, depending on how coated you want the pinecone. I removed my pin econe after about 2 hours. Set the crystal pinecone on a paper towel to dry.You can hang the pinecone indoors or outside. However, you might want to seal it against damage from moisture, especially for outdoor use. Make sure the crystallized pinecone is completely dry before sealing it. Id allow 3 days (though you can use the pinecone indoors while youre waiting). To seal the crystals, you can spray the pinecone with sealant, dip the cone, or paint on lacquer or varnish. Good choices include Future floor polish, Varathane, or Modge Podge. Any of several products will work just fine.

Essay on Information Technology Acts - 688 Words
Information Technology Acts Information Technology Acts Almost every home, school, and library in the United States, has computers and access to the internet. Although computers are vital to childrenââ¬â¢s success in school, the Internet can expose them to inappropriate material and online predators. With the constant advances in technology over the years, the increase in Internet use by children and teenagers has resulted in concerns about preventing illegal Internet activities. In an attempt to mitigate crimes such as piracy, copyright infringement, accessing of pornographic material by minors, and identity thief, the United States Congress implemented several legislative acts to address these concerns (Harrison, n. d.). Suffering In Antigone Essay Example For Students
Suffering In Antigone Essay In Ancient Greece, life was full of complicated questions centered around theexpanding field of science. Freedom of religion was encouraged to be exercisedin the city-states and man was focused on more than the Gods or heavenlyconcerns. As a result many new ideals and beliefs surfaced. These new ideals andbeliefs, though good in intentions, often conflicted with one another andcreated complex moral dilemmas. Such was the case in Sophocles play Antigonethat was written in this era. In the play, Antigone and Creon battle aphilosophical war concerning their ideals. They both base there actions on whatthey believe is right and wrong. The conflict arose when their ideals thatbacked up their actions on the burial of Polyneices clashed, creating acontradiction between morals. Antigones side of the conflict held a much moredivine approach, as opposed to the mundane path Creon chose to travel. Antigonefeels that Creon is disregarding the laws of the heavens by ordering it unlawfulfor anyone to provide a proper burial for her brother Polyneices. Antigonesopinion is one that supports the Gods and the laws of the heavens. Her reasoningis set by her belief that if someone were not given a proper burial, that personwould not be accepted into heaven. Antigone was a very religious person and theacceptance of her brother by the Gods was very important to her. Creons orderwas personal to Antigone and his edict invaded her family life as well as theGods. An important ideal in Ancient Greece was the belief that the governmentwas to have no control in matters concerning religious beliefs. In Antigoneseyes, Creon betrayed that ideal by not allowing her to properly bury herbrother, Polyneices. She believed that the burial was a religious ceremony, andCreon did not have the power to deny Polyneices that right. Antigones strongbeliefs eventually led her to death by the hand of Creon. Creons actions areguided by the ideal that man is the measure of all things. Creon believes thatthe good of man comes before the Gods. An example of Creons belief was theunburied body of Polyneices. Creon doesnt want to give honor to a man whoattempted to invade and conquer his city. He denies burial for Polyneices toshow respect for Thebes. From this standpoint, Creons decisions for denyingburial for Polyneices are completely just and supports the ideals. Creonsreasonings coincide with the Greek ideals except for two that stronglycontradicts his actions. The first is that Creon exercises complete dominationof political power. He defies this ideal by holding Antigone as his prisoner andnot the publics. The people of Thebes supported Antigone but were too scared todo anything about it. Creon found out about this through his son Haemon. Thesecond is freedom of religion. By denying Antigone to perform burial ceremoniesfor Polyneices, he is denying Antigone the ideal that supports freedom ofreligion. The contradictions between the beliefs of Antigone and Creon arestrong throughout the play. Neither of their arguments dominates the other eventhough they are both right and wrong at the same time. Antigone is followingdivine law while Creon is trying to protect the integrity of the city-state. Inthe end, Creon was convinced to set Antigone free after he weighed the factorsand debated the ideals. But it was too late. The contradiction of ideals was thecause of Antigones, Haemons, and Megareus death. Both sides were just and allbeliefs were supported. .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f , .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f .postImageUrl , .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f , .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f:hover , .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f:visited , .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f:active { border:0!important; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f:active , .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u1bc86b6659948e2ef49f868bf658ad8f:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Key Features of a Bond Essay The downfall is that Creon had to decide theunanswerable, and determine right from wrong when there was no clear answer.
